On March 21, 2007 the Bergamont real estate development and golf course were purchased by a Milwaukee based group led by the owners of The Legend at Brandybrook and Fiduciary Real Estate who most recently developed the very successful Legend at Brandybrook in Wales. The partners intend to remake the golf facility business plan from an upscale daily fee golf course to a private non equity refundable club mirroring the overwhelming success of The Legend. The original construction budget of the facility has been increased by over four million dollars with the decision to develop a private club versus an upscale daily fee golf course. The Legend at Bergamont is currently operating as a private club.
